Professor of Biology Jacob Kagey led a team of student volunteers in organizing and hosting a Science Exploration day for first graders at Einstein Elementary in Oak Park.

Kagey and his students have organized and hosted science days for multiple schools in Detroit, Dearborn, Canton and Oak Park.

More than 200 prospective young scientists interacted with Detroit Mercy students in learning to use a microscope and other interactive science activities.
