Detroit Mercy will play host to a two-day hack-a-thon, the Detroit Urban Health AI Challenge, on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27-28 inside the College of Health Professions, Room 124.

More than $10,000 in prizes is up for grabs for students with the event designed to foster AI innovation in addressing Detroit’s urgent urban health challenges. The hack-a-thon will be working with technology companies and community organizations to solve real-world problems.

It’s an excellent hands-on learning experience for UDM students.
