Student Life will kick off its year-long Makers Series with Ikebana flower arranging, a Japanese method of flower arranging that goes back centuries.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, Sept. 3 from 4-6 p.m., in the Student Union Lower Level.
Participants will learn the basics of Ikebana and then use instincts and personal creativity to craft their own arrangements, all while enjoying some tasty Japanese treats.
The event is free and open to all students.
