Community Engaged Learning (CEL), which combines coursework with the application of institutional resources to address community needs and challenges, has been building momentum, but to move forward we want to engage all interested faculty to hear how you envision incorporating the new understanding of community engagement in your courses. We see this as a collaborative process, so we are offering proposal workshops. The first workshop took place during Colleague Development Days. A second workshop is now being offered for those who missed the first session and is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 12-1:30 p.m. in the Health Professions Facility, Room 124. Lunch will be provided for all.
