Class of 2023, visit with a number of offices who will be available to you as you navigate your way towards graduation with the Graduate Salute, set for 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 16 in the Student Union.
Commencement ceremonies are just two months away with the McNichols Campus ceremonies taking place Saturday, May 13 at Calihan Hall.
Among the featured tables and offices in attendance on March 16:
- Alumni Relations/Senior Class Gift tables — They will be featuring a spin-and-win wheel for seniors to take home some alumni-branded prizes such as wine glasses, license plate holders, travel mugs, business card holders, notepads, playing cards and more. Seniors who sign-up in advance or in-person for the alumni website, Forever Titans, will also be entered to win a special Detroit Mercy diploma frame in addition to getting some on-the-spot prizes!
- Grad Images — Detroit Mercy’s Commencement photographer will be at the event to take a picture of you in a cap and gown (which will be provided). Or, you can get a professional head shot taken to use for your career! Dress attire is business or casual, your choice. There is no charge for the opportunity.
- Herff-Jones — The company will be there to assist you in ordering graduation announcements and class rings.
- #DetroitMercy2023 Photographer — There will also be a photographer with a fun photo station to make it easy to share your accomplishments on your social media. These photos will be displayed in Calihan Hall prior to the ceremony for family and friends to see and will be joined by any photos you send to #DetroitMercy2023 between now and May 13.
