President Antoine M. Garibaldi and Detroit Mercy Public Safety Chief Joel Gallihugh welcomed new Detroit Police Department Chief James White to the McNichols Campus on Thursday, Nov. 4.
They discussed current collaborations and potential public safety initiatives around the three Detroit campuses and the surrounding neighborhoods. Chief White also toured Public Safety’s future offices in the Student Union that are currently being renovated.
