All Detroit Mercy community members are invited to the Mass for Commerce on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 8 a.m. at Sacred Heart Major Seminary Chapel, 2701 Chicago Boulevard in Detroit. This celebration is an opportunity for the Catholic business community to spread the hope and joy that comes from knowing Jesus Christ in the sharing of the Eucharist. The Mass for Commerce celebrates its 25th anniversary, beginning its tradition at the University.
All are welcome to attend. This is not just for business owners and executives, but for anyone who is in the workplace and affected by the economy.
Following the celebration of the Mass, the Seminary will serve a fellowship and networking breakfast. In good times and in difficult times, the constant for the Catholic business community is the teachings of the Gospel.
Institute for Leadership & Service Director of Service Learning Timothy Hipskind, S.J., co-authored the book, What’s Your Decision?: How to Make Choices with Confidence and Clarity, which will be featured at the Mass.
