“Bridges not Fences part V, Intersections and Immigration,” is a two-day event during Undocu-Student Week.
The first event explores “Immigration Law and Policy” and takes place Tuesday, March 1 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Zoom. Learn about United States laws and policies surrounding immigration from the country’s founding until today. Who do they let in and who do they keep out?
“Immigration and Social Identities” is the theme of the second event, which will be held Thursday, March 3 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Life Sciences 113 on the McNichols Campus. Participants will learn about the impact of diverse social identities on immigration and how it is experienced by different people.
“Bridges not Fences part V, Intersections and Immigration” is co-hosted by the College of Engineering & Science, University Ministry and the Titan Dreamers student organization.
