In Solidarity: The Healing Wall interactive art exhibit

The Healing Wall, which debuted at Celebrate Spirit!, is a campus community activity that calls us to live out solidarity by naming and seeking healing for injustice in our world. The project was created by Detroit artist and educator Carole Morisseau to bring attention to systemic racism and violence in our world. As a Detroit Mercy community, we are called to assemble the fifth panel of the project, adding names of persons who have been victims of racial violence and systemic injustice.

If you would like to add a name to The Healing Wall, please email University Ministry at ministry@udmercy.edu or visit St. Ignatius Chapel in the Commerce & Finance Building on McNichols Campus.

The University will retain the completed work on exhibit as a reminder of the necessity of how solidarity calls us to work together in advocacy, action and healing.
