Two Detroit Mercy nursing students were recently featured in a Michigan Advance article highlighting COVID-19 vaccination efforts at the Kent County Health Department (KCHD).
The KCHD partners with Detroit Mercy through Aquinas College with students assisting with the vaccination effort. Nursing students Emma Nellis and Elysee Gerondale were helping with the administering of vaccinations at the Hispanic Center as part of their clinical rotations.
