Earn grants for creative Service-Learning projects

Do you have creative ideas for a service-learning project? If so, can Detroit Mercy students can get leadership training and money to coordinate these projects?

Ford Community Corps Partnerships (FCCP) grants provide funds to support student-faculty teams that have creative service-learning ideas. In the past we have provided funds projects like these, in which:

  • Students from a Political Class support for an agency that helps people facing eviction
  • Student from a Business Writing class create Canva templates to help a non-profit enhance their social media presence, and many others.
  • Students from a Nursing course provided people facing homelessness with a health resources list
  • Law students provided youth in a foster care facility info about their legal rights
