Detroit Mercy to host diabetes health education workshop, May 7

Managing diabetes can be a very challenging task. Continuous education and community support can be useful tools when making those daily, self-management decisions around your diabetes care and well-being.

University of Detroit Mercy’s College of Health Professions, School of Dentistry, Titan Equity Nourish Network (TENN), in collaboration with Taste the Local Difference Michigan and Detroit Association of Black Organizations (DABO), are pleased to host an annual Diabetes Health Education Workshop on Sunday, May 7 from 12-4:30 p.m.

The workshop is free and open to the public. The first 50 participants will receive gift cards.
