First Cybersecurity Club meeting set for Sept. 25

The Cybersecurity Club is set to hold its first meeting of the 2023-24 school year on Monday, Sept. 25 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Briggs Building, Room 217.

Refreshments will be provided and club meetings are open to all Detroit Mercy students.

In the meeting, guest speaker Joe Maki will discuss the importance of the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC). The ITDRC serves as a crucial link between emergency agencies, relief organizations and tech experts. This organization connects survivors and responders, prioritizing cybersecurity and strategic collaborations for effective crisis technology interventions.
