Theatre Company presents “The Norwegians”

The Detroit Mercy Theatre Company presents its next play of the 2021-22 season, The Norwegians.

The comedy by C. Denby Swanson runs from Feb. 4-6 and Feb. 11-13 at the Marlene Boll Theatre, 1401 Broadway Street, in Detroit.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $18 for seniors and Detroit Mercy employees and $10 for students and veterans. There’s also a “buy one, get one free” offer for adult tickets, using the discount code NORBOGO.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 1. Facemasks and COVID vaccination cards are required. The door opens 45 minutes prior to show time.

The Detroit Beer Company is offering 20% off their bill for patrons who show their ticket to The Norwegians. Those that using the Z Lot can also obtain a discounted parking voucher for $5 at the Theatre.

Directed by Andrew Papa, The Norwegians is an ice-cold, bitter comedy about two women who hire hitmen to murder their boyfriends, which goes beyond your average revenge story or flat-out farce.
