The University of Detroit Mercy men’s basketball team saw its rejuvenated program come up just short of a NCAA bid as the Titans fell to No. 1 Wright State, 66-63, on Tuesday night in the Barbasol Horizon League Men’s Basketball Championship.
Detroit Mercy defeated Robert Morris, 70-64, in Monday’s semifinal and plays Wright State for the Horizon League championship and NCAA Tournament bid 7 p.m. Tuesday in Indianapolis. The game will be televised on ESPN.

The exhibition reimagines historic drawings and models used to document the conditions aboard the Brookes Slave Ship. Cleckley and art historian Samantha Noël will speak at the opening event.
