The Detroit Mercy student organization “She’s the First” recently concluded a product drive benefiting I Support the Girls Detroit, collecting 4,346 essential items for the community, and would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone whose generosity, time and support that made the drive a success.

The retreat is designed for those who may not be able to physically get away from life/work for a few days and is held wherever you are, at your desk, in your car, in your dorm room, in your office, outside, etc.
The official welcoming event to the new school year for the University community, Celebrate Spirit!, is set for Thursday, Sept. 11 inside the Student Fitness Center. The Mass of the Holy Spirit begins at 11:30 a.m. with free lunch and reception to follow at 1 p.m.
Through an outreach ministry in Tampa, Fla., several Detroit Mercy alumni have come together to assist community members with transportation in the form of refurbished bicycles.
Nine Detroit Mercy undergrad, graduate and law school students attended the Detroit Catholic Campus Ministry Mass and cook-out with the new Archbishop Weisenburger this past Sunday, April 27.
